Jesus anticipates his rejection (Luke 13:31-35)
Answer Text: One day some Pharisees said to Jesus to go to hide for Herod wanted to kill him.Jesus replied and told them to go and tell that fox(Herod) that he would continue with his journey to Jerusalem, healing, performing miracles and driving out demons. He also emphasized that it is not right for a prophet to be killed anywhere except in Jerusalem. His answer showed that he was not escaping death.Jesus referred Herod as a fox indicating that Herod was cunning.Herod is also portrayed as a murderer. Here Jesus anticipated that Jerusalem was going to reject him and kill him.
