Answer Text:
Jesus went through the towns and villages teaching towards Jerusalem.
A person asked him if those who would be saved will be few.
He told them to strive to enter through the narrow door.
That many people try to go in but they will not be able.
The master of the house will shut the door.
Those outside will not be able to enter. The master will say . “I do not know you”. People will give excuses to enter but the master will disown them Those who have been rejected will grind their teeth when they see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets enter the kingdom of God .
Jesus used this parable to show that for one to enter the kingdom of God, one has to strive and put efforts because the moral demands are challenging . Those who will have strived and enter the narrow door will sit down at the feast of the kingdom of God.
