Answer Text:
The kingdom of God refers to God’s rule or authority. Jesus’ teaching mostly focused on the kingdom of God.
Jesus used various parables to teach about characteristics of the kingdom of God. According to Jesus the kingdom of God has an humble beginning
(illustrated in the parable of mustard seed) then the kingdom grows secretly (illustrated in the parable of yeast) and belongs to those who hear the word and do according to it (illustrated in the parable of the sower).
The kingdom is present and future and continues to spread through the work of the church.
