The parable of the yeast (Luke 13:20-21)
Answer Text: Jesus used this parable to show that the kingdom of God grows secretly. He compared the kingdom of God to a woman who takes some yeast and mixes with flour until the whole batch of dough rises. This parable shows how the kingdom grows secretly. Jesus also cautioned his disciples to be aware of the Pharisees who had wrong influence and practices which could hinder one from entering such kingdom.
