Audio-visual communication.
-Involves sending messages through sounds,signs, and pictures.
-visual communication involves the use of signs and pictures without sound e.g charts,pictures, diagrams, maps and photographs
-Audio communication involves the use of sounds only to communicate e.g
radio, cassette, CDs among others.
-Audio-visual involves combination of both audio and visual e.g videos, films, television.
Circumstances under which audio-visual communication would be used.
-Where there is language barrier between the communicating parties.
-When communicating in a noisy area.
-When communicating with a deaf person.
-When the message is confidential.
-Where there is need for silence
-When giving directions.
