FORMS AND MEANS OF COMMUNICATION
Forms- These are channels or ways of passing on messages. The four main forms are:
Oral communication/Verbal communication:
-This is transmission of information and messages through the word of mouth.
Written communication:
-Involves transmission of information in written form.
Audio –visual communication:
-Involves sending messages through sounds,signs and pictures.
Visual communication:
-This is the process of passing information by use of diagrams, drawings pictures, signs, and gestures
Means- This is the device used to pass on information e.g. messages, letters, telephones
