Answer Text: Some of the disciples remarked about how beautiful the temple was. Jesus then warned them about the destruction of the temple. “All these you see the time will come when not a single stone here will be left in its space. Everyone will be thrown down”. This must have been a shocking revelation to the disciples because they could not imagine the temple being destroyed. This temple had been built by Solomon for seven years and expanded later by King Herod the great.
