This passage is written in apocalyptic style.This is a style of revealing what will happen in the future. In the bible, the book of Daniel and revelation are referred to as apocalyptic books because they reveal what would happen in future ’ judgment.This apocalyptic writing is also found in prophetic books of Jeremiah, Amos and Zephaniah.The teaching on the end of times is the climax of Jesus’ temple teachings.
