Honesty is also regarded as having reliability and practicing faithfulness. Honesty is the ability to tell the truth and to carry out one’s commitment without deceit. Honesty creates a just society. An honest person does not lie, cheat or even
steal. The Bible teaches that we should be honest. The commandments “you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” show the need to be honest in order to create a just society.
