A committed follower of Jesus
Answer Text: Committed means dedication and devotion to a certain responsibility. Commitment is seen in the way we perform our tasks. Examples in the bible: (i) The parable of the Good SamaritanA teacher of the law came to Jesus to test his understanding of the Mosaic Law. He asked Jesus, “What must I do to receive eternal life?.” Jesus responded by asking him what the law says and his interpretation of it. The lawyer answered. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with your entire mind and your neighbor as yourself.” This was a summary of all the commandments God gave to the Israelites through Moses. Jesus replied, “You are right. Do this and you will be saved” The lawyer then asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” In the Jewish understanding, a neighbor was a fellow Jew and other people were enemies.
