- They include natural landforms, natural vegetation and drainage.
Landforms
- It constates of relief the way the land surface looks like
- On topographical maps, they can be interpreted
by the use of contours, conventional signs and names of depicted features.
- Among the landforms that can be identified include: dissected and rolling relief, highly or mountainous relief, slopes, spurs, ridges, escarpments, plateaus, bays and watershed. a) Dissected landform.
- Types of landscape which has been deeply cut by eroding streams into the earth´s surface.
- On topographical maps, it is represented by crooked and irregular contours
