Remedies of Racism.
(i) Through educating on the importance of appreciating and respecting those who are different from them.
(ii) Christians should preach the gospel of equality, freedom, human dignity and
universal brotherhood and sisterhood.
(iii) Educating society on the importance of the virtues of tolerance or patience.
- This can enhance the co-existing and living in mutual trust, peace and harmony of people of different races.
(iv) Encouraging inter-racial interactions through marriage, sports, education and worship.
(v) Employing people from different races in government, church and corporate organizations.
(vi) Implementation and enforcement of those
aspects of the constitution that prohibit discrimination on the basis of race by the government.
(vii) Mobilizing regional and international organizations like Common Market for East and South Africa (COMESA), East African Community
(EAC), African Union (AU) and United Nations (UN) to put pressure for economic and political sanctions on those nations that continue to practice racism.
