An argument about greatness (Luke 22:24-30)
Answer Text: An argument about greatness (Luke 22:24-30)An argument arose among the disciples about who to be regarded the greatest among them. This being the second time meant that it could be a continuing problem among the disciples.Jesus answered them that the kings of Gentiles exercise lordship over them and those in authority over them are called benefactors but to them the greatest is one who serves. In this incident Jesus was opposed to the worldly authority that is given on the basis of wealth or fame.He emphasized to his disciples that authority should be based on humble service to others.
