The plot against Jesus.
The chief priests and the Jewish leaders were very determined to have Jesus arrested for they were convinced that he was inciting people against them. Satan entered into Judas Iscariot who was one of his disciples. He went and conferred with the chief priests and officers on how he might betray Jesus and organized an arrest and
subsequently killed him. The chief priests and scribes were aware that if they arrested Jesus in public, the people would riot and cause unrest.
