Form 2 CRE Lessons: Jesus begins His work in Galilee

Occasions when Jesus was opposed:
1.The cure of the leper (LK 5:12-15) While he was in one of the cities, a man full of leprosy came and fell at Jesus feet.
The leper said to him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean”. Jesus stretched his hand and touched him and
immediately the man was healed. Jesus charged him not to tell anyone what had happened but to go and show himself to the priest and make an offering of cleansing as Moses commanded as a proof to the people. In this incident Jesus touched the untouchable. This was considered going against the mosaic law hence later be opposed.
