Jesus begins Ministry and is rejected in Galilee:When Jesus returned to Galilee a report concerning him went through out all the surrounding country.He came to Nazareth where he had been brought up and went into the synagogue as his custom was on the Sabbath day.He stood up and was given a scroll and read from the book of Isaiah. ‘the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. To bring to liberty to those who are oppressed and proclaim the acceptable year of the lord’. He closed and returned the scroll to the attendant and sat down and said to them “today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing” The people were doubtful of the gracious words which proceeded from out of his mouth and they said “is this not Joseph’s son........
