Answer Text: i) -Coasts washed by warm ocean currents are warmer while those washed by cold ocean currents are cooler.-coasts washed by warm currents receive heavy rainfall when moist onshore winds are warmed up by the current and made to hold moisture which release on reaching the land while cold ocean currents do not hold moisture hence the rainfall is low in the coasts where they blow.ii) -Temperature decreases with increasing height.- Mountains on path of the rain winds receive orographicrainfall and wind slopes receive heavier rainfall than leeward slopes.
