Answer Text:
i. Passing star theory.
It states that a star with greater gravitational pull passed near the sun and it attracted large quantities of gaseous materials from the sun which split, cooled and condensed to form planets which were set in orbit by the passing star.

ii. Nebula cloud theory.

Nebula is a slowly rotating cloud of dust and gas. It cooled and began to contract. The rotation speed increased and successive rings of gaseous materials were formed. The rings condensed to form planets and the central gaseous materials remained as the sun

iii. Collision theory

A star with greater gravitational pull passed near the sun, it attracted large quantities of gaseous materials which split into large and small portions. The portions collided to form planets.
