The reasons why demand curve slopes downwards from left to right:
-When price of a commodity falls, consumers can afford more of the goods.
-When the price rises, less is bought and vice versa
-The more a good is consumed, the less utility is derived from additional units consumed.
-When the price of a good falls, the good may be put to more uses.
