Human activities that interfere with wildlife
-The need for more space for settlement makes people to encroach into the wildlife habitat.
-After settling, there’s the need for agriculture. This makes much of the forest to be cleared to pave way for agricultural land.
-Improvement of agricultural produce makes people to use chemicals and fertilizers. These chemicals destroy the weeds and kill both insects and birds.
-Most of the industrial waste pollutes land, air and water.
-Mining destroys the plant and animal habitats.
-The feeding on wild game by people reduces its population.
-The people who fish use fishing methods that may lead to the extinction of some fish species.
