These chemicals destroy the weeds and kill both insects and birds.-Most of the industrial waste pollutes land, air and water.-Mining destroys the plant and animal habitats.-The feeding on wild game by people reduces its population.-The people who fish use fishing methods that may lead to the extinction of some fish species.
