Answer Text: Course of Ndebele war:-The war broke out in October 1893. The British army was led by Dr.Starr Jameson and comprised the shona police and other mercenaries from South Africa.- At that time, the Ndebele had been weakened by smallpox and inferior weapons leading to little confrontation between them and the British.- Lobengula chose to evacuate his people towards Northern Rhodesia. -At the two battles of Shangani River and Mbembezi. The Ndebele were defeated by superior European gun-fire.- The conquerors took advantage of the natives' inner divisions, with people of the low castes remaining passive and even some traitors helping the invaders.
