a) Basin irrigation:
- The ground is levelled.
- Embankments are constructed.
- Water is allowed in to the enclosed sections.
- The paddy fields are flooded to a depth of 10 cm.
b) Furrow irrigation.
Water flows from irrigation canals to furrow which are in
between rows of crops wetting them.
