The significance of the transfiguration of Jesus.
- Moses represented the law and Elijah represented the prophets. This showed that Jesus was the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophesies and laws. - During the transfiguration the appearance of the cloud that covered the three symbolized the presence of God. In most cases, presence of clouds
symbolized presence of God. Even during exodus the Israelites were guided by clouds during the day.
