Economic organization of the Nandi -The Nandi were pastoralists who kept Livestock like sheep, cattle and goats for milk, meat, manure and blood.-The Nandi cultivated crops such as Millet and sorghum.- They also practiced hunting and gathering. -The Nandi raided other communities for cattle. Eg, from the Maasai.-They traded among themselves and also with their neighbours. The Nandi traded with the Maasai and with the Luo.-They practiced craft e.g. made pots, weaved baskets.
