The economic organization of the Nilotes in Kenya-The nilotes were nomadic pastoralists who kept Livestock like sheep, cattle and goats for milk, meat and blood.-They traded among themselves and also with their neighbours. The kalenjin traded with the Maasai. -The Maasai also practiced mining e.g. mined iron, salt and red ochre which they used for decoration and as a commodity for trade.-They practiced craft e.g. made pots, weaving baskets and leather belts. .....
