(a) What would be the effect of adding a catalyst on the position of the equilibrium?
(b) Explain why it is not advisable to use temperatures higher than 773 K in the Haber process.

Answer Text:
(a)- A catalyst has no effect on the position of equilibrium. It only make equilibrium to be attained faster.
(b) - High temperature will favour backward reaction hence reducing the yield of ammonia.
