-The process of removing brackets is called expansion while the process of inserting brackets is called Factorization.

Example 1.

Expand and simplify:
a).3 ( a + b ) – 2(a – b)
b).1 3 a + 3 (5a + b – c)
c).2b + 3 (3 – 2 (a – 5)

Example 2

Factorize the following:
a).3m + 3n
