Answer Text:
Experiment: Dissolving potassium permanganate in water:
Procedure:
-Pour water in a transparent beaker/test-tube
-Gently add a drop of potassium permanganate to the water.
-Leave the set up for about an hour.
Observation
The water will gradually turn purple, at first the purple color will be intense at the bottom of the beaker/test tube. After sometime the purple color will spread to form a uniform purple solution.

Conclusion/Explanation
The particles of the purple potassium permanganate spread to mix with the water particles hence forming the uniform purple solution, this is a clear indication that matter (potassium permanganate and water) is made up of tiny particles/is particulate.
