Inspite of the benefits that accrue from privatizing public corporations, the government of Kenya has not fully done it and is still retaining some of its corporations. Explain five reasons the justify that retention.

-Some provide essential goods and services such that if privatized , the public may be exploited by them
-Some are so sensitive and of security importance and therefor cannot be left in
the hands of private sector.
-Retains so as to continue generating revenue to the government
-To avoid foreign domination as many Kenyans cannot afford such
coporations
-To curb monopolistic practices by the private sector
