i)- Contain seminiferous tubules that are highly coiled and long to increase surface area for spermatogenesis or sperm formation.
- Contain sertoli cells that nourishes spermatozoa
ii)- Secrete an alkaline fluid that neutralizes the acidity caused by urine, along the urethra.
- The fluid contains nutrients to nourish the sperms and activate them.
