Answer Text:
Translation vector moves every point of an object by the same amount in the given vector direction.
It can be simply be defined as the addition of a constant vector to every point.

Example 1.
The points A’ (3, 2) and B’ (4,-1) are images of A and B respectively under a translation. Given that the coordinates of A are (0, 1) find the coordinates of B.

Example 2.
A translation maps a point (1, 2) onto (-1, 2).What would be the coordinates of the object whose image is (-3,-3) under the same translation?
