Poverty
-Poverty can be defined as the state of being without adequate basic necessities of life such as food, shelter and clothing.
-It is the economic helplessness of an individual, people or a nation due to inadequate sources of income.
Causes of poverty:
-Unemployment
-Laziness
-Over dependence on foreign aid.
-Geographical factors such as adverse climatic conditions.
-Historical and social factors such as poor family background.
-Political instability that may lead to civil wars.
-Poor governance.
-Regional imbalance of natural resources.
-Low level of technology.
