Answer Text:
A number is said to be in standard form if it is expressed in the form #A times 10^n#, Where #1 lt A lt 10# and n is an integer. When the decimal point is moved to the right, then n is negative and when the decimal point
is moved to the left n is positive. For the whole number the decimal point is after the last digit.
Example:
Write the following numbers in standard form.

b.) 576
c.) 0.052
d).0.000214
e).842512
