Answer Text:
a)- Auxiliary/lateral buds sprout /branches will be formed.
b)- Decapitation removs the hormone auxin which is produced in the apical terminal bud or the stem tip. Auxins cause apical
dominance, absence or removal of the hormone auxins promote the development of auxiliary/ lateral buds or branches.
