A car which accelerates uniformly from rest attains a velocity of 30 m/s after 15 seconds. It travels at a constant velocity for the next 30 seconds before decelerating to stop after another 10 seconds. Use a suitable scale to draw the graph of velocity against time and use it to determine:
(a) the total distance covered by the car in the first 55 seconds.
(b) the retardation in the last ten seconds.
